Apr 03, 2025

Recently, the 2025 China Lighting Industry Brand Ceremony was grandly held in Foshan, Guangdong. This year's theme, "Intelligence + Going Global", was chosen in response to the industry's hot topics—smart lighting and brand expansion into international markets. The event aimed to unite a wider range of lighting professionals and explore the limitless possibilities of future lighting.

Taking this opportunity, Dazhaoming interviewed Li Fangfang, General Sales Manager of LTECH China Region, to discuss key topics such as intelligent lighting, foreign trade markets, and industry development trends. Let’s hear her insights!

01

Dazhaoming: What is your view on the current state and future prospects of the smart home (lighting) industry? What are LTECH’s plans?

Li Fangfang: Amidst a challenging market environment where the lighting industry is under pressure and competition is intensifying, smart lighting has remained one of the few segments with high growth potential. I firmly believe that 2025 will mark a new wave of smart home adoption. As an intelligent control solutions provider, our key focus this year is to ensure that we offer customized solutions tailored to different customer needs and budgets.

In recent years, we have been actively working on smart home ecosystem integration, striving to make LTECH products compatible with a wider range of third-party brands, creating a more seamless and enriched smart living experience. So far, we have successfully integrated three major sectors: Smart Home, intellignet drivers and LED Control Systems. Moreover, LTECH has established full compatibility with four major industry-standard protocols: DALI, DMX512, 0-10V, Triac.

In addition, our newly developed 485 Super Intelligent Module enables seamless integration with major wired control systems worldwide. Our smart gateway has also bridged Apple HomeKit and Matter ecosystems, allowing smooth connectivity with Google, Amazon, Samsung, and other global smart home platforms.

Compared to many conventional smart home systems on the market, LTECH’s smart home system offers greater flexibility. We will continue to provide highly competitive product solutions, expanding application scenarios for both residential and commercial markets.

Dazhaoming: "Brand expansion into international markets" has been a major trend in recent years. How will LTECH approach global markets in 2025?

Li Fangfang: 2025 is a year of new beginnings and a critical period for seizing market opportunities. Over the years, the smart lighting market has evolved, expanding beyond commercial applications into the residential sector. Smart lighting control technologies have become increasingly sophisticated, and smart solutions are now more diverse than ever.

LTECH has been cultivating the international market for over 22 years, making us one of China’s earliest smart lighting control brands to go global. Exports have always played a vital role in our business strategy, deeply embedded in our corporate DNA.

In 2025, LTECH will focus on strengthening our global presence by actively participating in major international exhibitions and industry events, including Smart Home Expos and International Lighting Exhibitions. With the global trend of brand expansion, we are confident in our ability to continue contributing to the advancement of intelligent lighting worldwide.

Dazhaoming: If you could define 2025’s lighting industry with one keyword, what would it be?

Li Fangfang: I believe the keyword for 2025 will be "Integration". As smart ecosystems continue to evolve, lighting companies must leverage their core strengths to achieve deeper ecosystem integration, ensuring long-term and sustainable growth.

In 2025, smart home (lighting) is no longer just about "product superiority"—we are entering a new era of integration, convergence, and ecosystem-driven development. This trend will break down industry barriers, unlock new business models, and create fresh market opportunities—making integration the defining factor for the lighting industry’s success in 2025.
